Bhupinder “Sonu” Singh Chandi  Founder, President  Sonu Chandi truly is the embodiment of the American dream. Born in India, Sonu came to America when he was just a teenager, and today he is the President and CEO of The Chandi Hospitality Group which he runs with his two brothers and his wife. Though Sonu is the owner of four thriving restaurants in Santa Rosa, California, and has opened thirteen Mountain Mike’s Pizza locations in the North Bay in the last twelve years - he has no plans on slowing down. Sonu continues to work hard and reach new heights for both his family and his community.

Pardeep “Sunny” Singh Chandi  Sr. Vice President  Sunny Chandi, like his older brother and company president Sonu, arrived in the U.S. as a teen. Initially unable to speak English, he completed his education in Walnut Creek public schools, followed by Diablo Valley College and Sonoma State University, where he studied finance.  Today, Sunny spends much of his time as Chandi Hospitality’s Operations Manager and is responsible for helping educate the company’s employees in practices that will simplify the various restaurants’ procedures and make them more efficient as well as managing quality assurance and supervising all four downtown restaurants.  Sunny boils his responsibilities down to a simple formula: “My goal is to check off all the things on the company’s to-do list, and do whatever is necessary to accomplish them.”

Chris Bowser - General Manager at Stout Brothers Irish Pub & Restaurant  Chris was born and raised in Sonoma county. After spending 10 years in the Army as an MP, he graduated the SRJC with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. He has brought his leadership abilities to the Chandi Hospitality group as the general manager of Stout Brothers.

David Asher - Director of Retail at Mercato Pasta & Produce  With a degree in International Relations from Georgetown University, David has been in fashion merchandising for most of his career. Most recently, he was the head of buying for the Giorgio Armani boutiques and has traveled (and eaten) extensively throughout Italy. He aims to bring a touch of Italian style and appreciation for local artisanal food to both the products he buys for the Market as the Director of Retail, as well as to each guest’s dining experience. He’s looking forward to Spring when there is a lot more local produce and he can set up the sidewalk farm stand. This is his first full year here in Sonoma County, having moved here from Brooklyn last year.
